How it works
AI doesn't do the math. It understands you.
Many AI tools let the language model do the calculation, and language models can produce convincing but wrong numbers. In Self-Opt the division of labour is strict: AI is the interpreter, the math is in a locked safe.
Five steps
From your question to a decision.
- Step 1You
You describe it
Write the problem in your own words (“I sell 500 a month, my supplier takes two weeks…”) or upload your stock list.
- Step 2AI
AI understands
It decides which method is needed and asks for what is missing. If it has to assume something, it tells you.
- Step 3Validation
Validation layer
Inputs pass unit, logic and range checks. Inconsistent or missing data never reaches the calculation; you are told what is missing.
- Step 4Engine
Deterministic engine
The calculation runs in pre-written, tested code. The same input always gives the same result; the AI never touches this step.
- Step 5You
Result and explanation
The result is explained in plain language. Change parameters to compare scenarios; the decision report shows method and data.
Why trust it?
To trust a result, you need to be able to see it.
Same input, same result
The calculation is deterministic code. Ask the same question tomorrow and the result is the same; if it changes, your input changed.
Tested against the textbook
No formula goes live before it is tested against known textbook examples. A calculation module that fails its tests is not released.
No hidden assumptions
If a missing input has to be filled in, the system says so and asks for your approval. The result screen shows which assumption was used.
Traceable to the source
The decision report shows which method ran with which parameters. For values read from a file, the row is shown too.
See it with your own data.
In a first call we listen to how your business runs and decide together which decision to start with. The call is free and carries no obligation.
